overall very pleased

I've been using these clubs for 2 weeks now and have noticed a marked improvement in my irons play. The accuracy of them is better and I have to adjust my game for the extra yardage I'm getting from them. The woods though, boy that's a different story. I've gone back to my old 3 wood and bought another driver to replace the ones that came with this set. The slice I've developed using the set's driver and 3 wood is truly amazing, the ball almost curves back towards me! I realize that this is because of my swing but I'm not going to try and correct it as I have this problem only with these clubs. I haven't had any experience with the hybrids yet so I can't comment on them, I suspect they'll be used as much as my old 3 and 4 irons were, which was rarely so anything I'd have to say about them would be based on prejudice and not experience.

Great set of clubs for beginners

I got this set as a Christmas gift when I just started playing golf, so I am a total beginner. It's been a few months and I think these clubs are awesome. Irons hit nice and straight, with grooves that do something. The woods look cool and go far. I don't have much experience with golf, so I can't compare these with many other clubs, but they all feel really good.The only thing I wished it had was a sand wedge or something more lofted than a pitching wedge. I had to buy that separately. Also, I heard the driver is not that good, but I think that would only be a problem if you're really good. I think it goes pretty far. Also, also, the bag strap kind of sucks. It will occasionally loosen and come off, so I have to retighten it.I guess I should haven given the clubs four stars because of the small negatives, but I love them probably cause they're my first!!
